Botter Prosecco and Italian Antipasto

Prosecco is a food friendly sparkling wine and one of the best crowd-pleasing wines for the summer. Bring the Botter Prosecco to any dinner party for an incredible price at only $13.99. Composed of Verduzzo and Prosecco grapes harvested in the hills surrounding Treviso, the prosecco is vinified in stainless steel tanks for an 8 to 10 day fermentation. The wine was filtered before bottling, and aged in bottle for 2 years. This wine has a pale straw yellow color, with a fine effervescence. Delicately fruity, it has an aromatic bouquet of honey and wild apple, with hints of flowers. It is light-bodied, and well-balanced. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with hors d'oeuvres and delicate first-courses. A perfect pairing would be an Italian Antipasto spread that is simple to prepare and delicious as an appetizer. We are loving this recipe for the antipasto, check it out: http://www.oreganofromitaly.com/recipes/antipasto_verona.htm
