A Robust Red with a delicious Bolognese!

A new wine to the shop, the 2010 "Passion has Red Lips" Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz produced by Some Yung Punks is a blend from South Australia and one of our funkier wines in the store. It has an aromatic nose and combines boysenberry and cherry liqueur, fruitcake and candied licorice. Deep with palate-coating sweetness and a refreshing jolt of peppery spice adding the life to the black and blue fruit flavors. A rich gobful of lip-smacking, sensuously structured McLaren Cabernet and Clare Shiraz, Passion is a beautifully lush, alluring blend replete with lifted, generous fruit, an exotic bouquet and a black heart.Rich and ripe but there's very good energy here too. Pair this robust and spunky red blend with Emeril Lagasse's Bolognese recipe. A tad lengthy to make but definitely worth the wait!!!
