About the Winery

Julien Braud began his winemaking career at Domaine Fief aux Dames, his family's estate. In 2012, he sought out to create his own wines when he took over three hectares from his parents. He takes pride in creating great wine from the Muscadet grape. Julien works entirely organically and incorporates biodynamic practices into his winemaking. Horses are used in the vineyards, and only natural yeasts are used for fermentation. The resulting wines are complex, textured and well-balanced.

The 2014 Pedralonga Rias Baixas Albariño is a really special wine that can stand up to any great Albariño. Citrusy aromas along with apple and grapefruit notes on the palate make for an exceptional wine with tons of personality. We always crave this wine and can't wait for you to taste it!

About the Winery

The Albariños that come from Pedralonga are dynamic and show great depth. In 1982, Francisco Alfonso planted his 7.5 hectare cru on a pure granitic hillside. For many years, he only sold wine locally and unlabeled. The Pedralonga Winery was founded in 1997 and got its name from the large chunks of granite in Gallego. The wines from Pedralonga are age-worthy and complex with a bright acidity.
