This rich, dense Cabernet Sauvignon is definitely a bottle you have to have in your collection. Paul Hobbs ONLY produces exceptional wines, and his CrossBarn Cabernet stands up to any higher priced Cab from Napa Valley. So delicious! Critical Acclaim 93 Points, James Suckling - "This is a fantastic example of the super 2013 vintage in Napa. Full body, currants, graphite, spice, and light chocolate. The length and balance to this is superb. Don't miss it. Drink or hold." Antonio Galloni, Vinous - "Dark red cherry, plum, smoke, licorice and spice meld together in the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Crossbarn (Napa Valley). Silky, racy and open-knit, the 2013 is a delicious wine to drink now and over the next few years. The flavors are bold, punchy and incisive, with firm tannins that could use another 6-12 months to soften."
2014 Benjamin Leroux Auxey Duresses Cote de Beaune Blanc Chardonnay $44.99 / $38.24
About the Wine We love the 2014 Auxey Duresses Chardonnay from Benjamin Leroux SO much that we had to feature it as our Wine of the Week AND at our tasting! Rich and soft layers of orange blossom and lemon zest combine on the exquisite palate. The finish is lovely, and the wine is delightfully easy-drinking, so make sure to stock up. You can't go wrong with a bottle from Benjamin Leroux, and his Auxey Duresses is simply inspiring. One sip of this beauty will instantly make you fall in love! Critical Acclaim Stephen Tanzer, Vinous - "Pale, bright yellow. Inviting aromas of stone fruits and ginger apple. Supple and silky on the palate, showing good weight to the apple and mineral flavors. Finishes dry, sappy and firm, with lingering minerality. The yield of these vines, which are situated close to the Meursault line, were reduced by hail. (Part of the Saint-Romain Sous Le Château was in an oxidative phase at the end of its malolactic fermentation but a barrel that was through showed lovely ripeness and old-vines intensity.)" .jpg)

Open the Eneo for a special occasion or drink it after a long day, either way you will be dazzled by this OUTSTANDING bottle! About the Winery The 15-acre Montepeloso estate lies in the hills of Suvereto on the Tuscan Coast. Swiss-born Fabio Chiarelloto is currently the winemaker for the estate. In 1997, he overhauled the vineyards in order to take full advantage of the terroir. He retrained, pruned and regrafted many of the vines. Montepeloso's basic Rosso is the Eneo, and it has flourished and has become an exceptional wine thanks to Fabio. It remains a powerful, yet elegant example of the Tuscan appellation.
2015 Casanova della Spinetta Il Rosé di Casanova Tuscany Rosé Sangiovese Blend $18.99 / $16.14
About the Wine Dry, light-bodied and youthful, this Rosé from Casanova della Spinetta takes Rosé wine to another level. Multiple bottles are a necessity, because one just is not enough. The nose offers floral aromas while the palate showcases raspberry, cranberry and black cherry flavors. This is a great Rosé to pair with salmon, lamb or salad. It is easy-drinking and unbelievably delightful! About the Winery The Casanova della Spinetta estate dates back to the 1890s when Giovanni Rivetti purchased vineyards in the Piedmont region of Italy. In 1977, the family moved to La Spinetta (meaning "top of the hill") in Castagnole Lanze. The Rivetti's utilized the land's great potential for Moscato and began to produce the regions first single-vineyard Moscato wines. Eventually, Casanova della Spinetta added red and rosé wines to their production. Now, the estate is well-known in the region, and they pride themselves on crafting their wines with passion.
