About the Wine When we first tasted the 2010 Highflyer Centerline Napa Valley Red Blend, we were shocked at the incredible value. This gorgeous Red Blend drinks like a wine at a much higher price point. It is a joy to drink, and it offers a beautiful balance of flavors including black cherry, chocolate and spice. The palate is rich and full, and the oak is very well integrated. We can't rave enough about this wine. Definitely make sure to take home a couple bottles, because there is a good chance that it will be gone VERY quickly! About the Winery In 2003, California native Craig Becker created High Flyer Wines. He combined his two passions: wine and aviation. As a pilot, Craig was able to scout the location and topography of the vineyards from his airplane. The goal of High Flyer Wines is to make pure, distinctive, charismatic wines from fruit grown in the most qualified vineyards.

After farming specialty vegetables since 1948, founder Oliver Tally's son Don saw the potential to grow high quality chardonnay and pinot noir. About the Wine This Cotes du Rhone Blanc from Chateau Saint Cosme is seriously a no-brainer. It is an exquisite blend of Viognier, Picpoul, Roussanne, Marsanne and Clairette. Luscious aromas of ripe pear and honeycomb come through on the nose, and notes of mango, papaya and apricot dance on the palate. This lovely white wine is clean, refreshing and perfect for pairing with chicken or lamb dishes. We are so excited for everyone to taste it tonight!
