About the Winery Hestan Vineyards is located on Napa Valley's eastern slopes on a gorgeous 127-acre ranch. The winery is named after owners Stanley and Helen Cheng, who purchased the land in 1996. They began planting grapes in 1997 and have all five of Bordeaux's principle red varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. After selling their grapes to top tier Napa Valley wineries for many years, Stanley and Helen began bottling their own wines in 2005. They quickly became highly acclaimed by both critics and wine fans.
